About

COMMUNITY + CONNECTION FOR SAN DIEGO’S WOMEN IN RECOVERY

Ohana Recovery Residences are exclusively for women who are seeking support on their path to healing. The setting at each Ohana location provides the surroundings, amenities, support and philosophy which allows our residents the ability to turn their focus inward. Women from all over the globe come to Ohana to solidify their support system before returning to the place they call home.

It’s not just a bed

It’s a community that will support you through a lifetime of recovery. The campus setting at Ohana means family, no one left behind.

MEET THE TEAM

Taylor Hall
  • CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Tayler quickly realized passion met purpose when she stepped in to help manage "Ohana House" in 2019, Ohana's first Recovery Residence located in Encinitas, CA. This is where she began supporting women who struggle with substance use, encouraging them as they learned to navigate the impacts on their mental/emotional health from years of addiction. In 2021, Tayler accompanied Ohana’s founder in successfully opening and running the next property, Ohana Recovery Residence in the heart of San Diego. Tayler leads with curiosity over judgment, empathy over shame, and a compassionate, trauma-informed perspective as the women regain their sense of self. Graduating with a degree in Behavioral Sciences, Tayler understands the unique paths and struggles women experience, often requiring personalized care and avenues of support. Tayler always has her “tool belt” on; knowing it’s not just one thing that is needed to heal, but an entire toolbox. She knows how crucial it is to have safe and supportive housing to support regulating the nervous system, which in turn helps the women “feel it to heal it." Tayler knows firsthand how tough this can be and brings an enlightened sensitivity to the shame and trauma wounds many experienced on their life's journey.

In Tayler’s spare time, you can catch her doing hot yoga, playing with style and photography, frolicking in nature with her dog Monty, or working on a good puzzle accompanied by lit candles and snacks.
